2018 Top 20 (10 - 6)

Finally entering the Top 10 of our 2018 Top 20 chart and here are the places from 10 to 6:

10. Michelle Williams - Fearless
What a year 2018 was for Michelle Williams. The Destiny's Child singer announced she had a TV show on the Opera Winfrey Network called 'Chad Loves Michelle' which documented Michelle's struggles with depression as well as looking at her live with her fiancé Chad. Sadly after some episodes of the show were broadcast, the couple decided to end their relationship.

One positive Michelle can take from 2018 is her amazing new single 'Fearless'. Anyone going through struggles will find help listening to Michelle's stunning vocals on such a powerful song.
This track could is what fans have been waiting for from Michelle and we hope there is more music in 2019 coming from such a fantastic singer!

9. Claire Richards - On My Own
After all the success Claire Richards has had with her group Steps, it was obvious that she would also love to showcase her stunning vocals and boy we are glad she did. Her debut single 'On My Own' was the perfect way to kick off her solo journey and it has already had almost 600,000 streams on Spotify.
The song is the lead single from her up coming album 'My Wildest Dreams' and Claire toured around the UK in December to give fans a chance to hear some songs from the album.

Claire will be very busy in 2019 with the promotion of her solo music as well as preparing to get back with her band mates to work on new music!

8. Laeko - Champion
Laeko is a French beatmaker/DJ/Producer who has released some great uptempo tracks for his fans. His song 'Champion' could easily be a track for boxers to walk out to as they make their way to the ring but is also a great track to keep you motivated at the gym, played in a club or to get festival goers up and dancing.

we can't wait to see what Laeko does in 2019 and all the other French DJ's (including DJ Snake and David Guetta) should be worried because there is a new kid in town hungry to make his mark in the music industry!

7. Cheryl - Love Made Me Do It
When Cheryl announced she was making a comeback, social media went crazy. Her song 'Love Made Me Do It' (written by her Girls Aloud band mate Nicola Roberts) entered the official chart at number 19 in the UK. Cheryl had to put up with lots of negativity sent her way about how low the track entered the charts and her performance on The X Factor.
The music industry has changed since Cheryl last released a song 4 years ago and the song has been a success.
2019 will continue to be busy for Cheryl as there are plans for new single releases and she is also a dance captain on The Greatest Dancer.

It's nice to have you back Cheryl!

6. George Shelley - Technicolour
George Shelley's 2018 was full of ups and downs but he still managed to release a great single for his fans. The song 'Technicolour' released as his official debut single has more of a rock/dance feeling to it and he also got to perform it live at London Pride. Before performing the track he admitted to the audience that he had recently come out and was nervous about what people would think.

George als worked on a BBC3 documentary about how he grieved about his sister who sadly passed away in 2017. The feedback from viewers was amazing and many mentioned how George's documentary helped them.

We really hope that we get to see (and hear) more from George in 2019 whether it is with new music, acting or presenting.
