Nadine VS Cheryl

Whether you miss Girls Aloud or not, most fans are happy when ever there is any news about any of the ladies but it is Nadine Coyle and Cheryl who are still keeping the music alive.

Nadine Coyle
Nadine has been busy with festival season where she has performed at a few Pride events (including Maspalomas, Spain) as well as being on television programmes like Celebrity Juice and Sunday Breakfast and making her acting debut in the BBC comedy 'Soft Border Patrol'.
There are also rumours that she will star in 'Derry Girls'.

She has just recently released her new single 'Fool For Love' where she has again worked with the Girls Aloud Producer/songwriter Brian Higgins who also worked with Nadine for her comeback single 'Go To Work' and her EP 'Nadine'

Cheryl
Cheryl has also been busy on our TV screens as she was a dance captain on the BBC dance show 'The Greatest Dancer'.
In March she released a message on social media saying new music will be out soon. She then posted again in May with the phrase "did I say March, I meant May' which is why we love Cheryl so much as she doesn't take life too serious and is not afraid to take a dig at herself.

'Let You' is the new single which finally got its release on the 31st May. She released a fantastic music video with dance choreography that everybody wanted and it is a great track to release after the comeback track 'Love Made Me Do It'. Cheryl has worked with her Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts on the track.

Now we are hoping for music from Kimberly Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts or even a Girls Aloud reunion!

The Rise of Austria

When people think about music from Austria, most will think about Mozart. It is very difficult to think of artists from Austria, a small country in Europe, being able to break into the international music scene but 2019 has already surprised us and with the following artists, we think Austria will finally be on the map again as a music industry to developing and introducing the world with amazing artists.

1. Wurst (Conchita Wurst)

It was in 2014 when Austria chose Conchita Wurst to represent them at the Eurovision Song Contest. Known as the 'Bearded Lady', Conchita fought through the negativity written in the Austrian media and of course everything changed when she won the competition with the song 'Rise Like a Phoenix'.

After releasing 2 albums (Conchita and From Vienna With Love), 2019 brought a major change to Conchita and who is now known as Wurst. It is probably the biggest reinvention since Madonna and as well as a change in style of music, Wurst has a new look with shorter hair and switches between black and blonde hair.

'Trash All the Glam' was the first single to be released by Wurst and nothing was revealed in the video as Wurst was in a full-bodied latex bodysuit.

It was after the 'Trash All the Glam' video when the real shock came.

Wurst released the song 'Hit Me' an up-tempo track (soon to be an international hit in our opinion) and in the video Wurst has short blonde hair and a blonde beard.

The song was also performed at the Austrian Amadeus Awards live for the first time.

The 3rd and most recent single to be released from Wurst is 'See Me Now'

2019 will see Wurst release an album called 'Truth Over Magnitude' which will feature the three singles.

2. Brofaction

Brofaction are a duo made up of 2 brothers (Nico and Laurin) and they have been working on their music for quite a few years.
Laurin was a contestant on The Voice Kids Germany and it was then after the release of their second single  'Back At The Playground' where people really started to pay attention. The song is a feel good track and they released a fun music video to go with it.

The brothers then spent a couple of years touring as well as releasing a charity single whilst Nico continued his Psychology university degree and Laurin finished his last year at school.

In 2018 the brothers flew to the US to work with songwriters to write songs for their debut album. Some of the songwriters they worked with have written songs for Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake.

'Message To The World' is the name of the album which got its release this year. The single 'My Mind's Made Up' was promoted with a music video to start the promotional campaign for the album.

The album features a 2019 version of 'Back At The Playground' and there are also a couple of stand out tracks including 'I Ain't Giving Up On You', 'Feels Right', 'Man of No Words', 'Message To The World' and 'Love Is Magic'.

The guys performed the album track 'My Mind's Made Up' on Austrian TV and there are many more performances coming up in 2019.

3. Nathan Trent

Nathan Trent is another artist who was chosen to represent Austrian in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017 with his song 'Running On Air' which he later released in Spanish and Italien.

Since taking part in Eurovision, Nathan has released a few singles as well as performing (acting and single) live at one of Vienna's biggest events Lifeball.

His singles have included 'Secrets' feat. J-Mox (which he also released in Spanish) as well as 'Legacy' and he features on J-Mox single 'Over You'.

Nathan has recently had his music featured on radio and television in the UK and Spain which we think are the first steps to finally breaking into the international music market.

4. Cesar Sampson

Cesar Sampson has quite a lot of experience when it comes to the Eurovision Song Contest as he sang backing vocals for Bulgaria in 2016 and 2017 before finally getting the chance to represent Austria in 2018 where he finished in 3rd place.

The song 'Nobody But You' was the song he used for the competition and it went on to enter quite a few charts in Europe.

Cesar has recently been in Spain where he attended the Eurovision pre-party in Madrid as well as being on the radio there.

His latest single 'Stone Cold' is now available on Spotify and iTunes.

Rak-Su - Rome EP

It's been a crazy time for Rak-Su since switching record labels moving from Syco Music to RCA. Many fans were worried that they were about to split but then they released their new EP called 'Rome'.
The EP offers 4 amazing tracks and to make things even better, the guys have been very busy recording music videos for the tracks.

1. Into It
The song 'Into It' was released as a main single and was the first video the group released.

2. Thunder

3. Stick Around

4. Blood Ties

If this EP isn't enough to get everyone excited, Rak-Su will be supporting Olly Murs on his 'You Know I Know Tour' which starts in May 2019!

Bahar is back!

Ever since German girlband Monrose split up, we have made sure to follow all 3 ladies solo projects and we are so happy to announce that Bahar is back with new music.

On the 1st February 2019 her vocals can be heard on the Traumfrequenz single 'Ohne Dich' (eng. Without You). This single mixes Bahar's stunning German Pop vocals with German Rap/HipHop.

For her German speaking fans, this was a moment everyone had been waiting for but what about her fans that don't speak German?

For her fans who prefer English songs, Bahar released her solo single 'What Eyes Cannot See' on the 8th February 2019.
The song is a beautiful ballad and showcases Bahar's angelic vocals and really moves the listener!

We are happy to see Bahar making a comeback and would recommend you check out both tracks on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes now!
We think 2019 might just be Bahar's year and we will definitely be supporting her!

1. Nadine Coyle - September Song
What a year 2018 was for Nadine Coyle. After she released her hit 'Go To Work' in 2017, fans and social media went crazy when Nadine announced she would be releasing her EP. The stand-out track is a cover of Jonas Blue's 'September Song' and we feel Nadine has done a great job with the track which we think is the style of music Nadine should be releasing.

Most of 2018 saw Nadine touring around the UK at some of the Pride concerts and it has been announced that new music should be released in 2019 by the Virgin EMI signed artist!

we can't wait to see what Laeko does in 2019 and all the other French DJ's (including DJ Snake and David Guetta) should be worried because there is a new kid in town hungry to make his mark in the music industry!

When Cheryl announced she was making a comeback, social media went crazy. Her song 'Love Made Me Do It' (written by her Girls Aloud band mate Nicola Roberts) entered the official chart at number 19 in the UK. The music industry has changed since Cheryl last released a song 4 years ago and the song has been a success.

It's nice to have you back Cheryl!

6. George Shelley - Technicolour
George Shelley's 2018 was full of ups and downs but he still managed to release a great single for his fans. The song 'Technicolour' released as his official debut single has more of a rock/dance feeling to it and he also got to perform it live at London Pride. Before performing the track he admitted to the audience that he had recently come out and was nervous about what people would think.

George als worked on a BBC3 documentary about how he grieved about his sister who sadly passed away in 2017. The feedback from viewers was amazing and many mentioned how George's documentary helped them.

The song 'Jedes Mal Im Sommer' (Every Summer) mixes German and English and is one of those songs that gets you dancing whilst on a beach or near a lake in the summer.

through out 2018, Kevin has been touring and promoting his music in Austria and Germany and it looks like 2019 will also be busy for him.

11. Louisa feat. 2 Chainz - Yes
If you read everything in the media, you would say that 2018 wasn't the best year for Louisa. Her single 'Yes' didn't impact the Top 40 and she was released from her contract with Simon Cowell's label Syco Music.
Louisa's fans should not be worried though! She has signed a deal with Ministry of Sound and she has featured on two other songs.

We think Louisa will surprise a lot of people in 2019 and we will be hear waiting for her!
