Big In 2015 (Female Artists)

We know you have been waiting a while for this and now it is finally here!!! Here are the female artists who we think will cause a big impact to the music industry this year:

1. Karen Harding
We are very excited to see what Karen Harding has planned for 2015. Her debut single 'Say Something' was produced by MNEK and has already been added to the playlist of Radio1Xtra.
The track is a dance/RnB track and her amazing vocals are just like Whitney Houston's.

She has been busy working with top music producers and songwriters and has also been doing a radio tour in the UK to promote 'Say Something' which is being released on the 25th January.

2. Nadine Coyle
She is the Irish beauty that everyone is waiting for to release her second album. Nadine toured with Michael Flatley where she covered the song 'Dangerous Games'.
Nadine also announced in August 2014 that she was in the studio and on the 16th September 2014 she announced that she is working with Xenomania producer Brian Higgins.

She also gave birth to her baby daughter in 2014 so we are very excited to hear Nadine's music and whether her having a baby will influence her music.
Her second album is believed to be released in the middle of 2015.

3. Charlee
Where should we start with Charlee? The Austrian singer has been very busy over the last few months. First of all she featured on the song 'I Am The Night' from German producer Marco Van Bassken and just recently she was chosen to represent Austria by being part of the Quatar 2015 Handball worldcup single 'Live It' where she also flew over to Quatar to sing the song for the opening of the games.

Not only has she been busy with her music, she has also celebrated her second year as an owner of a dog and cat shop (Die Futterbar).

Our biggest question is, could this be the year for Charlee to release a new album?

4. Bahar
Bahar is best know as 1/3 of German girl band Monrose. in 2014 she went back to school to finish her school leaving certificate but still managed to find the time to record a who album of tracks as well as music videos and television interviews.
We have chosen Bahar as one of the Big In 2015 because of her new album 'Bullets Of Love' which is going to be released on the 30th January. watch out for fantastic songs such as 'Medusa', 'Drank' and 'Gossip Bitch'.

As well as an album release in 2015, Bahar is looking forward to tour with her new music and she has also entered two of her tracks to be in the running to represent Germany for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

5. Reigan Derry
Reigan Derry gave some amazing performances on The X Factor Australia 2014 and we feel that 2015 is going to be a very big year for her.
Taking on tracks such as Sia's 'Chandelier' and Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me', Reigan showcased that she has what it takes to be successful in the music industry.
Soon after the show, she was signed to Sony Music Australia and released her debut single 'All of the Pieces' as well as her debut EP also called 'All of the Pieces'.

Big In 2015 (Male Artists)

It's a new year and we just love to guess who will be making an impact around the world with their amazing vocals.
Here is our list of male artists who will feel will be big in 2015:

1. Shayne Ward
It's been 4 years since Shayne Ward (winner of The X Factor UK 2005) has released any music and many people in the industry had written Shayne off as having the curse of a male artist on The X Factor (male artists aren't usually as successful straight after the show).
On 19th September 2014 Shayne announced that he will be recording new music with hit maker producer/songwriter Mike Stock. This was the news that fans have been waiting to hear for a very long time.
To fund the new album 'Closer' due to be released in April 2015, Shayne set up a PledgeMusic campaign where fans could give money for exclusive gifts including a karaoke night with Shayne himself. The campaign has already hit it's target however you can still get great gifts including a signed copy of 'Closer'.
You can support Shayne and his campaign by following this link: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/shayneward

We feel that with the support that Shayne has and the following on social media, Shayne is going to be hitting the charts all around the world in 2015.

Be sure to keep up to date with Shayne's progress by liking his Facebook page and following him on Twitter:

2. Jake Quickenden
Jake Quickenden is know for appearing not once but twice on The X Factor UK. Not only that but he also finished off 2014 in great style from leaving the show to going into the I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here jungle were he finished that show as the runner up (2nd place).
Jake has a huge following especially from the ladies who are very happy that he seems to not know what a T-shirt is (he is nearly always shirtless in photoshoots).
The reason we fell Jake is going to be big in 2015 is due to his emotional vocals which can make audiences cry and give everyone goosebumps as well as his smooth vocals which he showcased whilst harmonising on rap song in the Australian jungle (I'm a Celebrity).

Jake is now in the studio working on original songs that we can't wait to hear and we are keeping our fingers crossed for him to work with his jungle camp colleague Tinchy Stryder.

3. Danny Dearden
As we are on The X Factor UK theme, our next Big In 2015 male singer is Danny Dearden. Danny made it to Mel B's Judges Houses but wasn't taken to the live finals. Usually when this happens to a contestant, you hardly hear about them again but we are very impressed with the way Danny hasn't broke down with an 'I feel sorry for myself' story, but instead has been working hard gigging, working on new songs and has also filmed a music video for is fantastic song 'The Storm'.

He recently met up with Shayne Ward to help with Shayne's karaoke night in Mancester and we have to say, their voices work together very well and a duet from these two singers would be amazing (who do we need to call to get this arranged?).

We feel that many people may put Danny as the underdog in the music industry but to be honest, with his amazing vocals and talent, the music industry are soon going to remember the name Danny Dearden!

4. Aston Merrygold
We can all remember when a certain boy band call JLS decided to announce their split and fans were sad and weren't really sure what was going to happen with the members after the band. Well we can tell you that we have chosen Aston Merrygold to feature in our Big In 2015 due to the fact that he has recently signed a record deal with Warner Bros Records and he hopes to have his debut solo album out early 2015.
Aston who has the full package to be successful as a solo artists hasn't only been traveling the world with JLS but was also a judge on the dance show 'Got To Dance'.
Aston has been locked up in the studio getting his creative juices flowing for his solo tracks but he will be let out ready to start performing them and sharing the songs with his dedicated fans.

Keep your eye out for Aston's debut single soon!

 5. Jermain Jackman
In the past, The Voice UK winners haven't been as successful as expected however, this is all about to change. It all started on The Voice UK 2014 as Jermain Jackman joined team Will I Am.
Jermain is only 19 but has a very strong voice of a mature singer and with all the of his performances during the show, he proved he also has what it takes to be an international success.

After winning the show, Jermain released a cover of 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' by Jennifer Hudson which gave him his first UK charting top 40 single when it entered the chart at 39.
Jermain's self titled debut album will be released on the 23rd March 2015 and it already has the media talking.
Could Jermain be the first major successful artist to come from The Voice UK?

It is also known that Jermain wants to be the first singing Prime Minister of the United Kingdom so we are very sure that this talented singer is going to have a very busy 2015!
