Eurovision 2015

Incase you have been on a different planet and didn't know, Eurovision 2015 has been and gone. But what was the result and who stood out?

This years winner is Måns Zelmerlöw from Sweden with his song 'Heroes'. The 28 year old was a favourite from the start and with fantastic visual effects to go with it, it was obvious that Europe would be head over heals for him.

The single 'Heroes' is available now on iTunes and his album 'Perfectly Damaged' will be out on 5th June.

It's not only Måns who entertained Europe!

Polina Gagarina represented Russia this year with her song 'A Million Voices'. The singer came second just behind Sweden where for most of the votes it was a neck and neck race for the title.
The song has already sold well around Europe and we feel this superstar will have a fantastic career all around Europe and the rest of the world.

Loïc Nottet (know as the Belgian Justin Bieber) impressed everyone with not only his voice but also his dance skills. The 19 year old is currently in the top 20 in many iTunes charts in Europe with his song 'Rhythm Inside'.

As a runner up on The Voice Belgique, the whole world will know the name Loïc Nottet very soon.

This years host nation was Austria. They had The Makemakes represent them. Although the biggest shock of the night was the fact that they got 0 points, the song and performance is fantastic. They recorded their song 'I Am Yours' in Los Angeles and it has already enter the Austrian charts at number 2. Part way through the performance, the lead singer is playing the piano as flames bellow out of it!

The group have take their 0 points with humour and are looking towards the future. We have had a listen to their debut album which showcases some of their great songs.

Finally, the news that they want everyone to know is the fact that they are opening up for One Republic on tour!

One thing that was different this year was the fact that for the first time, Australia was invited to take part. The Eurovision has been broadcast over there for the last 30 years and with this dedication it was time.
Australia sent over Guy Sebastian who is know for being a judge on The X Factor Australia and has also had success with his music not only in Australia but also in the US.
Guy's song 'Tonight Again' has catchy lyrics which soon stay in your head and he finished 5th overall. He is now also experiencing success in Europe as his song is now climbing the iTunes charts.
