Lea Michele - Battlefield

You may have seen her on your tv screens recently and not just as Rachel Berry in Glee. Lea Michele has started her official music career as a solo artist!!!
First we got to hear her debut single 'Cannonball' which she also performed on The X Factor US and now Lea has released one of her album tracks for everyone to listen to. The song is 'Battlefield' and it is one amazing track!! The song which is sung with emotion and hits your heartstrings is just another reason to be excited for Lea's debut album 'Louder'.

Danity Kane - New Year Party

As we mentioned a while ago, Danity Kane are back (without D. Woods) and are ready to show they mean business.
This time around, they are doing things without P. Diddy and are involed a lot more with writing their songs.
A single called 'Rage' is ready and fans are now waiting for 2014 to see what Danity Kane have to offer.

If you are in West Hollywood, California, you can watch the ladies perform and celebrate New Years Eve in style at The Factory Dance Club.

Justin Bieber - Believe Movie

Justin Bieber released his movie 'Believe' on Christmas Day and all we can say is WOW.
The young star who has had a lot of negative press from the media lately has been through so much and if you believe everything the media says about the international superstar, you are never going to like him!

'Believe' really shows that Justin is a normal person like any of us with a job that many of us can't even imagine having.
The movie is better than his first (Never Say Never) which we didn't think would be possible and if people watch his movies, you can see who Justin really is and what a caring person he is.

We look forward to seeing what 2014 will bring for Justin Bieber and ok we admit it, he has turned us into Belibers!!!

An album named Touchdown was the news from the 3 brothers and it is available to pre-order on iTunes everywhere now!

JTR are tipped to take the Jonas Brothers crown as the next big sibling band. All we can say is watch out for the guys who are going to have a fantastic 2014!

Demi Lovato - Neon Lights

So Christmas is over for another year and you have some money or an Itunes gift voucher, this is the song we recommend you buy! 'Neon Lights' from Demi Lovato makes you want to just get up and dance. The video features Demi covered in neon paint which she pulls off very well.
The X Factor US judge who announced she was leaving the show after two seasons, is preparing from her Neon Lights Tour where Little Mix, Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony will be supporting her.

We predict 2014 will be a huge year for Miss Lovato!

Little Mix - Little Me

What a year it has been for Little Mix. They released their new album 'Salute' and their first single from the new album (Move) has seen success all around the world!
The ladies are now back with a slower more emotional song called 'Little Me' The song hasn't even been released yet but has already entered the UK chart which has to be a positive sign for them.

Take a look at the video here:

Clover - Es Navidad

Incase you didn't know, It's nearly Christmas!!! and we get bored of hearing the same Christmas songs every year (Wham-Last Christmas and Mariah - All I Want For Christmas) so when we heard there was a new Christmas song and it was in English and Spanish, we just had to take a listen.

The talented guys from spanish boyband Clover have released a video for their original Christmas song 'Es Navidad' and we think it is that good that the lads should release it as a single for Christmas 2014!!!

Take a listen and let us know what you think!

All that's left to say is: Feliz Navidad!

Question Time With.....James Cottriall

He is a British singer/songwriter living in Vienna, Austria and now it's Question Time with him. Ladies and Gentlemen, we give you JAMES COTTRIALL!!!

1. You live in Vienna, Austria and you have entered the Austrian charts many times but what brought you to Austria?
I studied German as my degree at Nottingham University, the third year had to be spent in a German speaking city, and I ended up in Vienna. I’d never been to Austria before my year abroad and I have to admit, it is one stunning country.

2. How did you feel when your debut single 'Unbreakable' first entered the chart in Austria?
It blew my mind. I’d spent about two years playing in any pub that would let me sing and busking on the streets to build up my fan base and when I released “Unbreakable” I sent them all an email saying please support me and buy the song. Their support overwhelmed me and it felt so amazing to hear I was in the top 40 between Robbie Williams and Pink. It took me a long time to get my head around it.

3. You have recently started promoting your music in other countries such as Great Britain and Holland, what has been the reaction in those countries towards your music and gigs?
The reaction has been amazing. The great thing about social networking is people tell you what they think immediately and it’s always the raw truth. I love the direct contact with my fans, so far it’s all been really positive and the shows are getting busier and busier so I’m definitely going to be doing lots more shows in the UK and the Netherlands soon.

4. You are originally from Stratford upon Avon in England, is there anything you miss from home and what are the biggest difference between England and Austria?
Every time I am back in the UK I always buy the biggest jars of Marmite and Branston Pickle you can get. I also miss real bacon sandwiches with brown sauce! But my family and friends never need much of an excuse to come and visit me in Austria or on the road when I’m on tour and I’m really lucky to have a really tight-knit family and friend circle. I think the biggest difference between Austrians and Brits is the sense of humour, in Austria it is extremely dry and it took me a while to figure out if they were being sarcastic or funny.

5. In Austria you have been featured in many music magazines such as Xpress and Cool! as well as performing at many well known festivals, what has been the highlight of your career so far?
That’s a tough one as I’ve had some amazing experiences as a musician like supporting Bryan Adams and Justin Bieber, but the best was playing to over 80,000 on the main stage at the Donauinselfest, Europe’s largest festival. Hearing that many people sing my songs with me is something I will never forget.

6. If you weren't a singer, what do you think you would be doing now?
I’d be bored sitting at home living on benefits. I put more than 100% into my music and the thought of it not being a possibility for me is something I can’t even begin to think about.

7. Usually artist worry about releasing their second album but your album went top 10. Do you now feel under pressure working on the third album?
Your right about the pressure on album number 2, I was very nervous about how well “Love is Louder” would do, but thanks to my great team and unbelievable fans the singles from that album spent almost 100 weeks in the charts! I’m currently working on my third album and trying lots of very different things out. The pleasure of album 3 is people have expectations of what it will sound like, so I’m going to do my best to throw those right out of the window and hit my audience with something new, unexpected but still true to what they know and love.

8. We know you have been working on the next album but what else do you have planned for 2014?
Aside from the album I’m going to be touring for most of the year, kicking off in Germany at the end of January with 31 shows and then more in the UK and the Netherlands after that, and then off to the USA for even more - I cant say too much, but 2014 is gonna be an extremely busy years with a lot of surprises.

9. There are a lot of talented artist in Austria but they don't seem to be as successful outside Austria, why do you think that is? Do you listen to any music from Austrian artists?
I think the music scene in Austria is getting better all the time, but the problem is so many artists try to sing in english and then it becomes a question of authenticity as they have to compete with UK, USA, Australian and Canadian artists, which makes it really hard as they are singing in their second language. People want to hear songs that really matter to the artists, so most of the Artists I listen to sing in German like Julian le Play, Christina Stürmer or Trackshittaz.

10. We absolutely love your music and hope more people around the world get to hear it. How can people find out more about your music?
I’ve got a brand new website full of cool new videos and stuff so definitely check that out www.jamescottriall.com and be sure to say hi on twitter @jamescottriall and I’ll give you a shout out! I’ve also got stacks on videos on YouTube and am on FaceBook :D Thanks!

The Big Reunion Christmas Single

It's that time of the year where artists are preparing to battle it out for the Christmas number 1!

Atomic Kitten, Blue, B*Witched, 5ive, 911 and the Honeyz are ready to show that they still have what it takes to enter high in the charts.

The Saturdays Confirmed For TOTP

It's official! The Saturdays will be performing on the Top of The Pops Christmas special! Nobody knows exactly which song they will perform (probably Disco Love) but the best news for TeamSats is the fact that they will be performing as a five piece! That's right, after giving birth to a baby boy this year, Frankie Sandford will be joining her band mates once again ready to show the UK why they are the biggest girl band right now!

Christmas can't come quick enough!

Question Time With Vincent Tomas

An American tour with Aaron Carter, experience in a boy band with success in Europe, starting his solo career journey and a relationship. These are just a few things we asked about when we questioned American singer Vincent Tomas!

Here is what he told us:

Can you tell us 3 interesting things about you?
I don't know how interesting this is, but I love playing video games.  Injustice Gods Among Us & World of Warcraft.  Love watching college football.... Go Ohio State Buckeyes!  I'm really interested in knowing about my ancestors and finally got to know a little bit about my family tree and met a bunch of my cousins that I never met before.  Big Italian and Macedonian family!

You were recently on tour with Aaron Carter, how was that?
Crazy and amazing! Had a blast being on tour with Aaron Carter! It was my first American Tour!!!!!!  We had a great time on stage together and I loved meeting all the fans in every city!  I want to thank Aaron for giving me the opportunity to tour with him.  At one of the shows, before showtime, we were all messing around and riding Razor Scooters in the venue.  We were laying on the floor and Aaron did an "ollie" jump over us!!

Many people in Europe will remember you from the band US5, do you keep in contact with any of your ex band mates?
Every now and then, we're all busy doing our own thing now.
I'm just happy that they're doing what they love.

You have released a few songs on iTunes now (Livin’ Life being our favourite), can we expect an album from you soon?
Actually I have released 8 singles this year! When I went on tour with Aaron Carter this summer, I performed my newest releases BURN THIS DOWN, TAKE A WALK WITH ME,  LIVE FOREVER and PRETTY LITTLE EYES!!! My album is still a work in progress.  LIVIN LIFE was very personal and part of my journey that I wanted to share with my fans.  I love big ballads, and hope to have a few more to put on the EP.

What do you have planned for 2014?
For starters, I'm really excited about my newest single BURN THIS DOWN getting radio play on iHeart Radio!  Don't know what 2014 will bring, but lots more is in the works.....stay tuned :)

Is music your only plan for the future or would you consider acting or starting a fashion line?
I have a lot of different passions, not just music.  Acting is something I have always enjoyed, even in high school.  It's something I love and will always pursue.  I think it would be cool to have my own line of clothes or other brands.  Well, I like hats so for me, I'll stick to hats!

If somebody was considering starting a career in music, what 3 things would you recommend them to do?
Good question...
1. Do it for the right reasons, don't do it just to be cool or famous, do it because it's fun.
2. Just put yourself out there, the internet is a great tool today.
3. Be yourself, set your own trend
It takes luck, practice, timing and perseverance.

Many of our blog readers want to know if you are single, are you and what do you look for in a girlfriend?
I was single for a long time....looking for the right girl.  I finally met her!  I look for someone who likes me for me.  She has to be funny, smart and love video games, plus understand my career.

If you could work with any singer on a song, who would it be and why?
It's hard to just say one in particular because there's so many styles I like.  Yeah, it would be a dream to collaborate with Justin Timberlake.  Love all of his music.  The album that really hit home for me is Future Sex Love Sounds.   Each and every song on that album tells a story. The tracks are amazing and I love the crazy beats.

Do you use social media or have a website?
Yeah for sure! Check out all my Official sites... I love talking and staying in touch with all my fans (VTNation and Vincenator's)

The second video from The United is finally online. 'So Wicked' is the next track from the lads and the video is finally available to watch on Youtube. The video which was shot in Japan has already had great feedback and the song has already had chart success in Japan entering the dance chart at number 9.

Let us know what you think of the video:

Question Time With Bianca

We have another question time and this time it is with Bianca (known as 1/5 of girl band Parade). We wanted to know more about the solo music she is working on and mentioned Parade (of course).

Here is what she had to say:

Many people will recognize you from the girl band Parade but what have you been up to since leaving the band?

I've been working on my debut solo album, so I’ve been in the studio writing which is something I  havent really done before and I’m enjoying it. I’ve had a lot of fun working with a few different collaborators,  producing something that I’m really proud of.

What were your first experiences as a singer and what made you choose this career?

I've always been interested in music since I was really young, so I'm lucky that I always knew that I wanted to perform. I can still remember one of my first singing auditions where I forgot the words because I was so nervous. I felt like a right idiot!

You have been working with some well known songwriters/producers, can you tell us who they are and what it is like working with them?

I’ve been working with a few different Producers, namely Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis), Tim Powell (Girls Aloud, The Sugababes) and the Nexus (Lana Del Ray, Hurts). I’ve also been in Sweden recording with Quiz and Larossi (Kelly Clarkson, Pussy Cat Dolls ), Addeboy & Cliff and Fredrik Berger (Say Lou Lou, Icona Pop, Erik Hassle) which was brilliant. Its been great working with these people as each one approaches my vision for the album differently. I’ve also been in the studio with Biffco which has been incredible, as he wrote ’Wannabe’  by the Spice Girls and I love that song!

Is there a release date for your debut solo single?

I’m hoping to get something out early next year, the sooner the better!

What are your plans for your music for the rest of this year and 2014?

I've been doing backing vocals on the X Factor live finals so thats kept me busy outside of working on my album. In 2014 I’ll be finishing off my album and preparing for the release of my debut single.

If you weren’t a singer, what would you be doing now?

I'm not really sure. I've always wanted to sing so I haven't really thought about what else I would do. I liked acting when I was growing up so I would probably have a go at that. But, if that didn't work, I'd probably be something completely different like a dog trainer because I love animals.

You have already had a top 10 single and 2 top 40 singles with Parade, how did you celebrate?

We didn't really get chance to properly celebrate our top 10 because we had so much going on at the time. I remember on the day we got our top 40 that we had a gig so it was really nice to be able to celebrate that achievement with our fans.

Do you think there might be a chance of Parade getting back together in a few years from now?

We’re all really busy working on our new projects at the moment but never say never! I caught up with Jess and Sian recently and I love Jess’ new song Double - Its a tune!

With you solo music, will you be collaborating with other artists?

I haven't recorded anything with anyone yet, but I have a couple of exciting collaboration ideas for the future.. I’ve recently had the pleasure of singing backing vocals on tracks for Olly Murs, Cher and Leona Lewis so I suppose that would be a good place to start!

If you could work with any international artist, who would it be and why?

That's such a tough question. I'd probably have to say P!nk because I think she's amazing and musically, my stuff is a little bit like hers. And she seems like a right laugh and properly bonkers!
