If you haven't heard the name Shawn Mendes, where have you been? This Canadian singer/songwriter has taken the music charts by storm and is also looking like the artist to steal Justin Bieber's Popstar crown in 2016.
Shawn released his single 'Stitches' in May 2015 and since then, radio stations all over the world can't resist a play or 50 a day!!! The single recently went number 2 in the UK but could soon be the single to knock Justin Bieber from the top spot.

Shawn has recently teamed up with Camila Cabello (Fifth Harmony) to record the song 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' which was added to the track list to his album rerelease 'Handwritten Revisited'.

On the 23rd September 2014, Aston signed to Warner Bros Records where he is currently working on his debut solo 'Showstopper' due for release in May 2016.
Astons' debut solo single 'Get Stupid' caused a debate with UK fans about whether he will get to release his album after the single entered the UK Chart at number 28. This was a big shock as everyone expected a top 10 for the track. Although it wasn't as successful in the UK, the track has gone Platinum (selling over 70,000 copies) in Australia after entering the charts there at number 10 with the help of a performance on The X Factor Australia and Sunrise Australia. 1. Feuerherz - Merry Christmas

Feuerherz is a German schlager/pop group and have released their track 'Merry Christmas' which uses 5 foreign language (German, English, Spanish, Italian and Dutch).
For anyone who likes a good looking boyband looking all festive in their Christmas jumpers and winter wardrobe, this video will be perfect for you.

The song is now available on Amazon and iTunes.

2. Kylie Minogue feat. Dannii Minogue - 100 Degrees

It has been a very long time since the Minogue sisters have performed together but finally as part of Kylie's Christmas album, Kylie is joined by her sister Dannii for their Christmas song '100 Degrees'.
The song is disco/pop track and something very different to the traditional Christmas songs which are usually played on the radio.

Kylie and Dannii recently performed their song on The X Factor Australia and at the Royal Albert Hall.

Jessie J - Man With The Bag

It has been a long time coming for Jessie J to release a Christmas song. She has an amazing voice and brings something very different. With her song 'Man With The Bag' Jessie j joins the race to be part of the Christmas charts.

Fleur East And The Vamps

With many exciting chart battles taking place lately, we expect these two albums to climb up the UK Charts in the next couple of weeks with sales over the Christmas period.

Fleur East - Love, Sax and Flashbacks
Fleur East came second on The X Factor UK last year but has already entered the UK Charts at number 3 with her debut single 'Sax'. Her new album 'Love, Sax and Flashbacks went in at number 14 in the UK but with her fantastic live performances and the run up to Christmas, we think Ms East will be in the top 10 in no time!
One stand out track off the album has to be 'Breakfast' (short clip below).

The Vamps - Wake Up
The Vamps recently enjoyed showing off the video to their single 'Wake up' which stared Brooklyn Beckham. The single entered the UK chart at number 12 and their new album 'Wake Up' entered the chart at number 10.
The lads have recently announced a UK tour starting March 2016 and tickets are selling fast!

With One Direction taking a break in 2016, it is believed that The Vamps will take their place for world domination!

UK Boys with Soul

An artist who can move people with just their voices don't come round very often. This week sees the release of two singles performed by artists who can do this.

Jahméne - Down For Love

Jahméne is best know from his appearance on The X Factor where he finished runner up to James Arthur. During his time on the show, he moved the audience to tears with his soulful and emotional performances.
Jahméne is now back with his new single 'Down For Love' which has a gospel/soul feel to it and with the voice that everyone has been missing, you would be crazy not to add this song straight to your playlist.

One thing that really stands out about Jahméne is the fact that he is just a normal guy and like he has recently said, he is not looking for fame, its all about the music.
We are still hoping for him to record an original song with his X Factor mentor Nicole Scherzinger as their voices blended so well on the final!

The song is available now and we are sure there will be many more great songs and emotional performances coming from this British artist!

Nathan Sykes - Over and Over Again

What a journey Nathan Sykes is currently on. The ex The Wanted member has been performing everywhere around the world and working on new music for his debut solo album.
He has already had chart success with his single 'Kiss Me Quick' which entered the UK chart at number 14 and the US Dance chart at number 1.

Nathan is now back with his new single 'Over and Over Again' which perfectly showcases his soulful voice and really takes the listener on a journey. He will be performing the song on The X Factor UK and it has been announced that Nathan will be supporting Little Mix on their 'Get Weird Tour' in 2016.

We feel Nathan Sykes could be the artist to represent the UK on a global scale in 2016.
