GRL released thier first solo single 'Ugly Heart' in the UK and managed to enter the charts at number 11. That is a second song to enter the top 20 in the UK charts which features the ladies after Wild Wild Love from Pitbull and the ladies reached number 6.
Sad new did strike the group on Friday 5th September however as group member Simone Battle was found dead in her house at the age of 25!
It is unknown what will be next for GRL but we will always support their fantastic music and talent.
Know for being on The X Factor UK as part of Kelly Rowlands ladies, Amelia did not have the success that most people expected when she left the show! Her debut album was canceled due to singles not performing in the charts!
She has now moved record labels and she has moved away from dance/pop to a more pop/rock sound and her new single 'California' is the perfect song to re-launch her career.
All we can say is be ready for what Amelia has in store because this girl is going to be heard everywhere!!
