As New Zealand has finally got on board with the whole X Factor trend, 1 group in particular are ready to show the world they have what it takes to be the next successful girlband.
The name is Gap 5.

Gap 5 are a band with soul, energy and entertainment. With the backing of their mentor (Melanie Blatt from UK girlband All Saints), the girls are in very good hands and a New Zealand doesn't have a girlband like them, this is their time to shine.

Everyone should keep their eyes and ears open because Gap 5 are going to be a worldwide success! The Saturdays and Stooshe had better be ready for competition because Gap 5 mean business!

Jonathan Fagerlund

Jonathan Fagerlund is a 22 year old singer from Sweden. Most people would have recognised him from his early days in a band called Streetwize. During his time in the band, he toured the UK, Ireland, US and Sweden but due to the slow progress of the band, he decided to move back to Sweden and start a solo career.

To date, Jonathan has released two albums ('Flying' and 'Welcome To My Life') and three singles. He has had a top 10 single in Sweden with his second single 'Playing me' and his song 'Welcome to my Life' also saw him enter the Swedish chart at number 23 after he took part in the Melodifestivalen to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Exciting New Music On Itunes Now!!!!

What is everyone listening to at the moment? Do you want to update your itunes music?
Here are our suggestions:

1. Eric Saade - Coming Home and Winning Ground

Swedish singer Eric Saade has been really busy promoting his new music in Scandinavia but his music has now been made available worldwide. 'Coming Home' is a different style of music to what his fans would expect from him but it is still a hit single.

Not only has he made Coming Home available worldwide but his song 'Winning Ground' (official song for the UEFA Women's Euro Cup 2013) is also available.

2. Jessie J feat. Big Sean and Dizzie Rascal - Wild

Fans have been waiting for a new song from Jessie J and it is finally here. The single 'Wild' which features Big Sean and Dizzie Rascal was a shock to most fans when they first heard it as it is more rapping than singing. We love the song which is currently riding high in many itunes charts around the world.

3. Robin Thicke feat. T.I and Pharrell - Blurred Lines

Another song we recommend is a soulful, good feeling song from 'Blurred Lines' from Roin Thicke feat. T.I and Pharrell. The song has already been a success in most of Europe and America.

4. Robin Stjernberg - You

The final song we recommend is 'You' by the Swedish singer Robin Stjernberg. The song was used in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 as Sweden's (host nation) entry.
Once you have heard the song a few times, you will not be able to stop singing it!!

Stooshe - London With The Lights On

It is one of the most anticipated albums of the year and it is finally here. Stooshe's album 'London With The Lights On' showcases the amazing vocals of Stooshe and their feel good songs. Such songs as 'Black Heart', 'Love Me (feat. Travie McCoy)' and their new single 'Slip' are all featured on the album.

Be sure to either buy the CD or download from Itunes or Amazon right now!

Eurovision 2013

It's the event of the year that you either love or hate! We decided to watch the Eurovision twice this year and here are our top 5 acts:

1. Gianluca - Tomorrow (Malta)

Gianluca the 23 year old doctor from Malta looked like he had a great time on stage as he was always smiling. His easy listening guitar led track Tomorrow was just what the competition needed!

2. Robin Stjernberg - You (Sweden)

Representing the host country he did such an amazing job with his performance. We feel his song will be a hit worldwide.

3. Krista Siegfrids - Marry Me (Finland)

Her energy and crazyness reminded us of Katy Perry. This is a pop song where you can just have fun and be silly. We love it!

4. Farid Mammadov - Hold Me (Azerbaijan)

Farid gave the audience a very creative performance with a dancer in a glass box copying the moves Farid made. This is a song we would think of when we hear the word Eurovision.

5. Cascada - Glorious (Germany)

A lot of countries had complained because Cascada is very well known. although they didn't place so high in the end, it was one of only a few songs that was sang in tune! We love the song too!!

Siblings In Music

If we asked you how many siblings do you know who are in the music industry, how many could you name and where are they from?

Here is our Top 3:

The Jonas Brothers (USA):

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas has had worldwide success both in music as well as acting careers. With songs such as 'SOS' and 'Lovebug', they have entertained millions of fans with their sold out arena tours.
With their TV show 'Jonas' they were able to expand the JONAS brand and fans were happy to see the brothers everyweek on their screens. This was a great way for them to break into the acting business and helped them land their roles in 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' starring along side Demi Lovato.
In 2012, 'Married to Jonas' started being shown. The show follows the life of Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle in their new life as a married couple.

We feel that there is a lot more to come from the band with their new single 'Pom Poms' just being released and a new album coming later this year, if you weren't already a fan, you soon will be!

Michelle and Vera Luttenberger (Austria):

Michelle Luttenberger is one half of the austria group Luttenberger*Klug which started in 2005. Their first song 'Super Sommer' was the start of a very long success in Austria and Germany. Other songs released by the band are 'Vergiss mich' and 'Mädchen im Regen'.

As the band is currently taking a break, Michelle has shown that she has enough talent to stand on her own two feet. As a solo artist, she was featured on the City Angels track 'Broken' and she is currently working with an Austria band 'Last Like Deep'. Although music is her first love, she has recently started a career in TV presenting with 'Steiermark 1'.

Vera Luttenberger (AKA Charlee) is the younger of the two Luttenberger sisters. At aged just 14, Vera signed with Universal Music and started working on her debut album 'This is Me'. Her debut single ('Boy Like You') was released under her stage name Charlee and entered the charts in Austria at number 16. The track which was co-written by international superstar Ke$ha was given to Charlee after Ke$ha's debut album release was delayed.
Charlee has released two other singles 'Good To Be Bad' and 'Obvious'. Not only has she performed at many festivals and shows in Austria and Germany, she also took part in the 2011 show 'The Voice of Germany'.
She is currently working with DJs and producers for new songs.

Vera has just opened a store in Graz for dogs and cats showing she is also a business woman. The Futterbar (http://www.diefutterbar.at/) has everything you need for your cats and dogs!

The Luttenberger sisters are very talented and we feel that they are going to be the next big international stars to represent Austria!

Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield (New Zealand and UK):

Daniel Bedingfield is know for his emotional songs with words that hit you straight in the heart. His debut release 'Gotta Get Thru This' was the break in the music industry that he needed. It entered most charts worldwide.
When Daniel released his balled, 'If You're Not the One' everyone knew it was going to be big. His most successful single to date has been played worldwide and was voted in the top 20 loves songs of all time!

After experiencing success on a major scale with his balled, the singers popularity faded.

Daniel is now a Judge on The X Factor in his native land New Zealand.

Natasha is the most successful from the Bedingfield siblings. Her fun lyrics and amazing hooks took over her fans CD collections. Her debut single 'Single' charted well in the UK and the US but wasn't really a hit in the rest of the world. It wasn't until Natasha released her second and third singles ('These Words and Unwritten') that she had the world in her hands and her international fanbase grew rapidly.

Natasha is currently working on her fourth studio album.
