1. Mikolas Josef - Lie To Me (Czech Republic)
Mikolas Josef studied at the English college in Prague but knew from an early age that music is what he wanted to pursue in life. The 22 year old, who has already worked as a model, songwriter, producer, video director and choreographer, represented the Czech Republic with his song 'Lie To Me'.
The song is an upbeat/pop track with elements of rap. Mikolas entertained the crowds at the Eurovision with his cheeky/fun stage presents and also added dancing with a rucksack to his performance.
He finished in 6th place and has now signed an international record deal with Sony Music and RCA Records. This is just the start for Mikolas Josef.
2. Michael Schulte - You Let Me Walk Alone
Over the last few years, Germany hasn't been very successful in the Eurovision Song Contest but that didn't put Michael Schulte off taking part for his country. The singer who has been called "The German Ed Sheeran" is known in Germany after coming 3rd in The Voice of Germany.
After finishing his performance on stage at the Eurovision, the crowd went crazy and excitement grew but was this enough to change Germany's bad fortune?
As the final points were given, it was finally announced that Michael had broke the Eurovision curse and finished in 4th place.
Michael is now preparing for his up coming tour in Germany.
3. Cesar Sampson - Nobody But You
Cesar Sampson is not a stranger to Eurovision. He performed backing vocals for Bulgaria in 2016 (finishing 4th) and in 2017 (finishing 2nd). Before that, Cesar performed vocals on the Austrian version of 'Dancing With The Stars'.
2018 was finally the year for Cesar to take centre stage and and represent Austria with his song 'Nobody But You'. The song showcases Cesar's powerful vocals and impressed in the Jury vote with Austria receiving the majority of the Jury vote.
Cesar ended up finishing 3rd overall which is the 3rd highest placing for an Austria contestant in Eurovision history.
4. Eleni Foureira - Fuego
Eleni Foureira was tipped as the favourite to win the Eurovision this year from the very beginning. The Greek singer was not accepted to represent Greece and chose to represent Cyprus instead.
Eleni performed her song 'Fuego' and finished in 2nd place which is the highest position in Cyprus history at the contest. The song has since made a huge impact on the music charts worldwide and Eleni has signed a deal with Sony Music to continue her music journey after the success of her Eurovision performance.
