Ex X Factor Contestants For Eurovision

As we all know, the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be taking place in May and there are 2 ex X Factor UK contestants looking to represent their countries.

First up is Ruth Lorenzo. She has been named the artist to represent Spain with her bi-lingual song 'Dancing In The Rain'. Ruth was part of Team Danii in the fifth series of The X Factor.
Now she is ready to show the world just what she has to offer to the music industry.

The Other X Factor contestant you will recognise is Eoghan Quigg who was also part of the Fifth X Factor series 5. The irish lad is currently hoping to represent Ireland in the Eurovision song with his song 'The Movie Song'.

M.A.D Get their second UK Top 40 Single

After a busy week of touring the UK and going to signings where 1000s of fans turned up to meet the band, M.A.D found out today that their second single 'Fame and TV' entered the UK Top 40 at number 32 making it their second  single to enter the Top 40.

They are also preparing to release new tour dates very soon.

Till then, be sure to follow the band's journey as they aim to grow their fanbase and keep entertaining the fans they have had since the beginning.

The Saturdays - Not Giving Up (Official Music Video)

 The Saturdays have finally released their video to 'Not Giving Up'. The video shows the girls in sexy outfits illuminated by glow sticks. The song is said to be a contender to help the girls continue with their global success and as it is co-written by the Australian producing team 'DNA', this could be an advantage when the song is released in Australia.

The song is due to be released in April. Till then, enjoy the video:

Olly Murs As The X Factor Judge?

With lots of rumours about the 2014 series of The X Factor UK here is what we know:

- Simon Cowell is 100% back!!!!

Now that Simon has announced his comeback to the judging team after a three year break, who will join him at the judges desk?
Many people believe Louis Walsh will be back which will make him the longest running judge with 11 years under his belt. Cheryl Cole's name keeps coming up and after her sacking from The X Factor USA, this would be a great chance for Cheryl to get her own back by beating Simon!

The final name that is spreading around the internet at the moment is Olly Murs. With his international success and experience with the show, this could be a good choice.

Conchita Wurst for Eurovision!

There have been many crazy and out of this world acts who have represented their country in the past at the Eurovision Song Contest and now it is Austria who have chosen one and her name is Conchita Wurst. Conchita Wurst (born Thomas Neuwirth) is ready to dazzle the Eurovision with amazing amazing vocals and dressed as a bearded woman.

We look forward to see if Conchita makes it to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Denmark when she sings on the 8th May in the second semi-finals.

M.A.D - Fame and TV

After entering the UK Top 40 with their debut single 'Toy Boy' last year, M.A.D are back with their first single for 2014 and it's called 'Fame and TV'. The group who have already had a line-up change to welcome AB Pryer have been working hard to grow their fanbase and are getting ready for their Tour around the UK.

I'm nice, i'm me and a little bit crazy.

When did you get interested in music?

When I was a very young child. I'm born to be a singer :))

You have recently been in the studio recording your new single, when will people be able to buy the song?

What do you have planned for 2014 in regards to touring and releasing music?

My first album!

If you could duet with any singer or band, who would it be and why?

Yeah, with Nadine Beiler. She is an amazing, beautiful girl with a great voice.

The Saturdays - Not Giving Up (CD Cover)

One of the best songs (In our opinion) on their album 'Living For the Weekend' (available worldwide on Itunes), The Saturdays have finally released the CD cover for their new single 'Not Giving Up' which is written and produced by the Australian production team DNA.

The video was filmed in January and the single is expected to be released in April.

Mr X Factor (Simon Cowell) Returns!!!

There have been rumours spreading for a while but Mr X Factor himself (Simon Cowell) has announced that he will be a judge for the 2014 X Factor UK.
Although there is no news about the other judges, we can't really see and X Factor without Louis "Clap Like A Seal" Walsh!
Gary Barlow did say he was leaving but who could the other judges be?
Will the Shermazing Nicole stay for another series? Will Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole make a return? or will Simon just choose some random strangers from the streets?

Joe McElderry Wins (Again!!!)

When people hear the name Joe McElderry, you automatically think of a winner. First he won The X Factor UK in 2009, he then went on to win the second series of Popstar to Opera Star, he was the first X Factor winner to have 4 albums all go Top 20 and now he has won The Jump 2014 where he participated in many winter sport events in Innsbruck, Austria.

Is there anything this guy can't do?

With his 50 date UK tour 'Set Your Soul Alive Tour' coming this year as well as working in the studio on his fifth studio album, 2014 might just be Joe's year!

Can you introduces yourselves and tell us something about you?

John, 23, the big brother, plays guitar, drums and piano and is often making sure that Tom and Robin aren't getting into trouble;) Tom, 20, plays guitar and drums, single and ready to mingle! :D Robin, 19, the baby bro that you can't get to stop singing! You know when Robin's around, never a dull moment.

Most people will know you from the 5^th season of The X Factor Australia, what have you all been doing since then?

We've been working on finishing our album, recorded our music video for the single Ride and been planning for what's to come 2014!

For the X Factor audition you flew from Sweden to Australia just to be there. On TV you did a great job in the audition but how were you really feeling after such a long flight?

We were so frickin tired haha! The production team came up to us just before we went up on stage and basically said, "you guys look like shit, do you need a red bull or something?" Haha but when we came out the crowd gave us the energy that we needed:)

What was it like working with Natalie Bassingwaighte?

Nat is so amazing! We love her:) She's really talented and knows so much about performing that we haven't learnt yet!

Do you still keep in contact with contestants from the show?

For sure! We try to be in contact as much as possible, everyone is pretty busy now though, but there are definitely friends for life there!

You have recently announced that you are going to release your debut album in March, what can fans expect?

Fans can expect a really fun pop album written by us:) There's a lot of different songs with different messages and stories from our life, so we're really looking forward to hearing the fans reactions!

Will you be touring in 2014 and will your music releases be available worldwide?

We will definitely be touring in 2014, will release dates pretty soon:) Yes, the music is being released world wide as well.

If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Madison Square Garden! Such a cool arena in the middle of New York, that would be awesome!!!

What are your hobbies?

Music, obviously;) Songwriting, producing in the studio, surfing, hanging out with friends etc etc:)
